Who We Are
Our team includes designers, engineers, technologists, content specialists, and business and
organizational development professionals; all dedicated to excellence in their work. In this work,
we call on a network of business and technology veterans that extends from Cambridge to Palo
Alto and across the globe.
Leading our team is CEO Steven Solomon. He is the past Deputy Director of a world-leading
computer science center, the Center for Real-time Intelligent Complex Computing, and was most
recently the Director of the Interactive Communities Network, a unique regional, public intranet.
From 1984 through 1996, he served in several regional management capacities with MediaOne of
New England, including Director of Public Affairs. There he developed and managed a
ground-breaking, fully interactive distance-learning system over cable. He is also the published
author of numerous articles on the intersection of business, technology, and culture. You can read
some of his thoughts, as well as those of others, in Things We Think.
Our Board of Advisors includes:

General Instrument, major consumer electronics manufacturers such as Sony, Phillips, and
Thomson, and the full range of cable telecom players. His most recent achievement was the
development of the OpenCable standard for next-generation set-top boxes, incorporating
advanced interactive features. Prior to that effort, Don was intimately involved in the
development of cable Internet services and the development of the cable modem.
Charles Donofrio is president and chief executive officer of Richardson, Myers & Donofrio, Inc., a
strategically-driven integrated marketing, communications, interactive media, research and

Institute of Architects, Henry J. Kaiser Foundation, the National Association of REALTORS, Procter

speech would consist almost exclusively of two-way, interactive communication, Chuck and partner

interactive media firms by The Industry Standard.
